Skills

I have worked the last five years of my career at a big German multinational industrial company participating and leading various strategically important international projects in different countries and different areas (Finance & Controlling, Operations Control, Distribution & Marketing Strategy, Warehousing, IT, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, Working Capital Management). Such high profile projects were in preparation of company spinn-offs or mergers, as well as the subsequently needed reorganisation in adaptation to the new environment and cost reduction objectives.

The group with more than 40 subsidiaries with more than 2.000 employees worldwide is a leading manufacturer and supplier of welding materials as well as an important producer of metal cutting machines. My objective as headquarters trouble-shooter was the successful hands-on completion of cross-functional tasks, usually applying restructuring or turn-around management measures while being temporarily inserted as CEO or CFO into the subsidiary concerned.

Languages

German, English, French, Italian, Turkish, Spanish (intermediate)

Other

PC literacy:
• Advanced knowledge of most common PC software packages (MS Office, MS Project etc.)
• Experiences in SAP, BaaN, Comet and JD Edwards
