Evening Breeze is a product leader in personal climate control, using disruptive and patented technology to challenge traditional air-conditioning systems. After 5 years of unprofitable operations with a single-track business model, joined as CEO, leading turnaround in the following areas:
Commercial: Responsible for creation and execution of a new strategy with an adjusted market and brand positioning. Focused on PMC choice, opening up new distribution channels and differentiated pricing. This resulted in entry mainstream B2B and consumer markets. As a result established new partnerships and opened 11 retail outlets in selected markets (the Netherlands Antilles, Israel and Hong Kong). Created a new brand identity with improved brand architecture. The order portfolio for 2016 is currently larger than the cumulative sales over the last 4 years.
Technological: Responsible for the creation of a new product road-map. Applied a new make-or-buy balance and introduced simplifications whilst maintaining functionality. Cost price is reduced with 40% allowing competitive pricing and sustainable growth. Negotiations are currently ongoing with global air-conditioning manufacturers towards a strategic partnership.
Financial: From ’08-’13, the company accrued a disproportional level of Debt. Responsible for leading negotiations with shareholders, banks and the Dutch State to re-structure all financial positions. Today the balance sheet is clear of any debt, facilitating partnership discussions in both technological and financial domains.

Easytobook is one of the world’s leading innovative online travel agencies offering 120k hotels in 11 languages. 5 years of high growth was stagnating. Joined to lead the team of 80 staff based in Amsterdam and Israel. Responsible for strategy, daily operations, all commercial and content-sourcing activities. Restructured and matured the organization to meet the needs for growth and an envisaged IPO. Institutionalized data-driven decision making and introduced strategic focus to meet the increasing global competition. Re-branding of the site and 3 new commercial partners led to 15% increase of traffic at stable conversion rates.
