Atos Consulting
Executive Business Consultant, Manufacturing Retail & Transport
September 2012 – October 2016
As a consultant, I have led several projects in different areas at various multinationals: e.g. outsourcing IT service management, time to market process integration, process standardization, customer satisfaction process optimization, strategy definition and security process integration.
Within these projects, I have been responsible for advisory, process and organizational designs and implementation, team management, project management, crisis management, and troubleshooting. Within all projects, my sparring partner was at the level senior manager or board member.
Internally, within the MRT Unit, I have been part of business development. It was my role to translate sellable developments from our expertise units to our clients’ needs, and the other way around. My area of expertise was on Business Performance Improvement and Digital Transformation. Additional to that I have been part of recruitment- and training-taskforces.
Next, to my role as a consultant, I have been a member of the Atos Netherlands Work Council and chairman of the Strategy Committee.

Sefapane Lodge (Kruger Park, South Africa)
Manager Business Development
April 2011 – October 2011
Sefapane Lodge is positioned at the gate of the Kruger Park. Together with the owner I have been involved in improving operations of the lodge and services for the Kruger Park, and setting up a new concept in Mozambique, extending current business. One of the most memorable achievements was to organize a successful ‘braai’ with open bar for 200 people in the middle of the Kruger park at night, without water and electricity, but plenty elephants and lions. The learning curve was managing people within clashing cultures with enormous differences in an isolated wildlife environment.
Heineken Netherlands

Regional Market Demand Manager (Central & Eastern Europe/ Southern Europe)
January 2010 – May 2011
As Market Demand Manager, I became responsible for all export operations to my specific regions. My counterparts were the Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain Directors of the specific countries. Besides the enormous operational experience I gained, my drive was to make my role redundant: get demand and supply in balance; and implement self-enforcing processes. This also included the setup of a customer service office and required investments.
Heineken International

Business Consultant Financial Process Innovation
April 2007 – January 2010
Starting as an Intern I coordinated the Legal Entity Rationalization Project involving Legal, Tax, and Control & Accounting department. After my internship, I was hired as a consultant within the governance workstream within the Company Information Logistics Program. This global program has been set up for several strategical and organizational reasons. The biggest challenge for the governance workstream was sharpening the role of regional management (part of the executive board) recently implemented. My role was to design and align new processes and organization. After that, I joined the roll-out and implementation team.
